How the index is built

The current data source is optional, consented homeowner submissions for completed jobs. RoofIQ does not currently use an external public dataset for local installed prices. No modeled or fabricated prices are used.

A county and material index requires at least 10 qualifying completed jobs, separate contribution consent, manual publication approval, and a 30-day hold. Any published figure identifies the Registry source, qualifying sample size, and latest reported job date.

RoofIQ provides general, population-level information for educational purposes. It is not a damage inspection, claim valuation, coverage opinion, or legal advice, and RoofIQ does not act as an adjuster for anyone.
